From novice to pro. we offer group classes, private, and semi-private personal training sessions that will help you reach your goals.


THE BOXING WORKOUT IMPROVES EVERY TYPE OF PHYSICAL CAPACITY: STRENGTH, POWER, COORDINATION, AEROBIC FITNESS, ANAEROBIC FITNESS AND ENDURANCE. EXERCISES THAT ARE EMPHASIZED INCLUDE, HEAVY BAG, SPEED-BALL SPRING-BALL AND MEDICINE-BALL WORK, SKIPPING, RUNNING, WEIGHT-TRAINING (CALISTHENICS MAINLY) AND WIND-SPRINTS.

COACH JOSH CANTY (BOXING)

JOSH CANTY WAS ONE OF THE BORDER CITY BOXING CLUB'S FIRST TWO BOXERS, AND THE CLUB'S FIRST CANADIAN CHAMPION. WHEN BILL WHITE APPROACHED JOSH'S COACH, DOUG BEDARD, IN 1987 ABOUT STARTING A NEW KIND OF BOXING CLUB IN WINDSOR, DOUG AGREED AND THE BORDER CITY BOXING CLUB WAS BORN. IN 1988, JOSH WON CANADIAN GOLD - BORDER CITY'S FIRST. JOSH WENT ON TO BECOME HEAD COACH, VICE-PRESIDENT, AND PRESIDENT OF THE BORDER CITY BOXING CLUB. NOW A LEVEL V COACH, JOSH HAS COACHED PROVINCIAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS, IN BOTH THE AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL RANKS. JOSH HAS NOW JOINED THE PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE MMA TEAM TO SHARE HIS VAST KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO OUR STUDENTS.
